I am blessed to have two beautiful sisters that I cherish, a bunch of amazing nephews and nieces, my sisters’ adorable grandchildren to dote upon, and the steadfast support of some extraordinary friends, cousins and in-laws. I’m originally from Montreal, Quebec, and now I live in Vancouver, British Columbia with my wonderful husband, John, and our beloved canine being, Finnigan, a two-year-old mini Labradoodle. And I like to think that I’ve done a little wonder-seed planting in other aspects of my life, besides my career.Īs for nurturing the garden I grow in – hopefully I’ve kept growing in the beautiful garden that surrounds me in all things - in my yard, my clients’ projects and all my relationships. Publicity is the act of planting seeds of wonder. To this day, my mission statement helps me focus and do my best to stay on the path I want to follow. Years ago, I attended a week-long spiritual workshop focussed on learning our soul’s purpose, where I crafted my mission statement: To plant seeds of wonder and nurture the garden I grow in It’s not as far off the mark as it seems. So naturally, I became a publicist in the film and television industry. I was torn between being becoming a minister or a psychologist. My hope for you is that every day you have some fun, something to celebrate, and much to be grateful for.Īfter I abandoned my adolescent dreams of being a fashion and costume designer like Bob Mackie (because I couldn’t sew!), I started to think about what else I might love to do when I grew up. Because, just as the nighttime follows the day, there will always be darkness, and I think we can help stave it off by doing what we can to recognize, acknowledge and enjoy the light when it shines on us. There will be a lot of stuff up here about what makes me happy: things I love things that make me smile things I enjoy doing and things that have brought light when I needed help pulling myself out of darkness. This being my first Festimonial, I’m not sure how the site will evolve as it grows, but it will remain positive, joyful and celebrational. To make festive! To swear to have fun!
